Please Pray

My Grandma is not felling well. She had a stroke and her left side is no good now, she don't talk good again. Its so painful to see her the way she is. For now her blood pressure is down. I don't know if I'd be here to post as regularly as I use to. I'd come in from time to time though. Please Pray. Thanks

Father's Day

I saw this story when I was making a research on father's day. I decided to post it here.
Mrs. John B. Dodd, of Washington, first proposed the idea of a "father's day" in 1909. Mrs. Dodd wanted a special day to honor her father, William Smart. William Smart, a Civil War veteran, was widowed when his wife (Mrs. Dodd's mother) died in childbirth with their sixth child. Mr. Smart was left to raise the newborn and his other five children by himself on a rural farm in eastern Washington state. It was after Mrs. Dodd became an adult that she realized the strength and selflessness her father had shown in raising his children as a single parent.

My Dad is very special to me and I love him so much. He has been a guiding light in my life. He taught me to laugh, smile and be kind to others even when I don't feel like. Mostly he taught me to be the best in life and not settle for an average life. There were times He was hard on me and most times it hurt me but I came to find out that He wanted the best for his girl. Daddy, your "Big Girl" has turned out right. I'm not perfect yet but by God's grace I'd make it. And to all My other fathers who has helped me in every areas of my life...I wish you a HAPPY FATHER'S DAY.

I've Been so Busy

I'm sorry friends for not making any post. I've been so busy, I've not been able to do anything. I had to attend some seminars and I could have tried to make a post on Father's day but my notebook was messing up. Anyway, I'm back. I'd have to start with Father's day. It better late than never

Two To-do List

You cannot live that extraordinary life that you want, if you keep
doing ordinary things throughout your day.
Ordinary things are those things you normally do like house
chores, errands, cleaning, fixing, etc. Extraordinary things are
the things that will move you closer towards your dreams and goals.
Make two to-do lists. One for your ordinary things you regularly
do and the other for the things that will get you closer towards your dreams.

"The road to extraordinary living cannot be paved by ordinary
actions." ~Andres Lara

Being Watched

What if whatever you were to do today was going to be meticulously observed by someone you want to make an impression on?

Would you do a mediocre job, an ok job, or an impeccable one? Ranging from how you treat an animal, a relative, or a stranger to performing a very insignificant task around the house.
What kind of behavior or performance would you put forward, if you were being watched? Behave accordingly...you never know who's watching.

"Whenever you do a thing, act as if the whole world was watching."
~Thomas Jefferson

Motivation- taking action to succeed

You can’t achieve the goals you set for yourself unless you consistently take action. And you can’t consistently take action unless you’re strongly motivated. And you can’t become strongly motivated until …
Until … until you expect to succeed in advance.
This is something I read today when I was doing a research on motivation, I felt it would be nice to share this with you all.
Most people consistently get the goals they set - and this is because they take action inspite of the obstacles and roadblocks on the way. When it comes to motivation, expectation is everything. When you don’t believe your chance of success is very high, you’re simply not going to see much value in pushing forward and taking action. You’ve got to strongly believe that your chances of succeeding are high - and not just within your time frame. That’s the kind of feeling that will make taking action seem “worth it,” even when there are a lot of things working to sap your motivation.Set a goal and believe and have full confidence that the goals you set not only can be achieved, but will be achieved. Listen to the conversations you’re having in your head about your goals and pay close attention to anything you’re saying to yourself that’s sapping your confidence in your eventual success. It's really hard to put this into action but with constant practice success will come calling.

What If...

What if what's taking place right now in your life is nothing more
than a passing cloud that will eventually disappear?

What if that which seems like a hurricane is nothing more than
a fleeting cloud? What if all you have to do to see the blue skies
again is to stick it out a little longer?

What if the last thunder you heard was the last thunder you would
ever hear? Don't forget...no storm last forever.

"There is always sun behind the clouds." ~Prover
